Preschools have become a great place for the child to explore and learn the basics of life. It moulds the child in the proper way and develops interests in various aspects as the child is exposed to all new environment. Child care specialists in preschools are trained to better understand and nurture the children in a play way manner. However, not all preschools are able to provide a good environment for the child and so it is good to keep the following points before making a final choice:

1) Reputation of the school
2) Education qualification of the staff
3) Opportunities for play
4) Nap Time
5) Snacks time

Importance of preschool can never be overemphasized as the following list gives a clear picture of the foundation laid down by such schools in a child's life.

Preparing for Kindergarten

One of the most important benefits of preschools is that they nurture the child to accept new people and adjust to new places. Besides, they are also taught some basic academic aspects in a fun and play manner. Storytelling, learning numbers through games, alphabets through songs, and shapes through crafts and so on are the activities involved in a playschool. Such activities ignite the young minds and develop interest towards books and knowledge. Such exposure to different aspects makes the child more stable and independent thereby gets into kindergarten without much worries and anxiety.

Emotional development

Preschools will help the children to control their emotional temperament. As they leave their comfort zone of homes, they tend to get easily adjusted in new surroundings. This also creates senses of responsibility as they learn to fend themselves under the guidance of trained childcare specialist.

Develops Team Spirit

Teachers in preschool organise activities that engages the children in an interesting manner. Group play enhances the spirit of sharing and caring amongst the young minds. It also fosters the spirit of friendship and makes them a good human being. Patience to wait for their turn and learning basic manners to greet the elders, table etiquettes and so on are fed into the child's mind at an early age. Such habits are inculcated in a very subtle manner.

Reduces Anxiety

Children who experience high levels of separation anxiety learn to overcome this as they stay in a safe place away from their home and parents. Preschools are a great boon to the working parents as the child is made to be more independent at an early age. They learn to take care of their belongings, toilet training, putting on their shoes, standing in queue and so on.

Benefits are plenty and so are the opportunities but it is up to the parents to make a wise decision by making the right choice of preschool to entrust their child's future in safe hands.

Preschool is a great way to kindle the right attitude of the child and nurture them for an easy and smooth entry into the next level of education that is Kindergarten. It yields an all-round development of the child and is a boon to all the working parents.
