Speed Reading

"Babies are born with the instinct to speak, the way spiders are born with the instinct to spin webs. You don't need to train babies to speak; they just do. But reading is different." - isn't it true some habits have to be nurtured at tender age.

Reading is an activity none can avoid it starts right from our days, as toddlers continues through out our lives be it in schools, colleges, and work place or for pleasure. One cannot do without reading. It is rightly said "today's readers, tomorrow's leaders", as reading opens you up to a new world of knowledge, wisdom and ideas which we are ignorant of. But if reading is so important, there has to be techniques to improve reading and retention power. There is a need for Speed-Reading, wherein you could read fast, comprehend, and remember the information that you are accessing easily. The question here arises is what is the necessity of Speed Reading and who benefits from it. Speed-Reading would benefit one and all but the targeted audience who would benefit the most are College students, language Students, and Work employees. With large amounts of data and information available to gulp down (through books and computers) .Not only do you have to read, but comprehend and digest the contents properly for further use. To explain this point further here's a quote I read somewhere - "The connection between speed reading and comprehending what is read is like a film." Slow down the film, and the movement and meaning slows and the film's impact is diminished. Viewers won't learn as much about the film if they are not in synchronization with the film's normal speed. With reading the same thing can happen. When a person reads word-by-word, understanding single word at a time, they are not reading on the level of ideas put forth. You need to read on some level that's more conversational and allow words to coalesce into ideas themselves."

Now the question arises how to speed-read? How to bring your reading skills up to that level? You could join in speed-reading courses or speed-reading classes and improve reading skills, or go through exercises for speed-reading. These courses, tricks and techniques are specifically designed keep in mind the errors that we commit while reading, what are the techniques for fast reading comprehension with ways and means to give boost to your reading skills.

Impress your friends and boss by speed-reading and responding in no time and discover the change in your life.
