TEFL which stands for Teaching English as a Foreign Language and TESOL which stands for Teaching English to Students of Other Languages are courses for teaching aspirants who wish to teach and travel at the same time. Travelling to various different places and teaching students there entitles dealing with a wide variety of students belonging to various different races, culture, origins. If someone loves to travel and meet different unknown people, is comfortable interacting with them, and has the capability to adjust in just about any circumstances, loves adventure or the idea of it, and is looking forward to a successful profession  that involves all the above , then pursuing a Bachelor’s degree course would be appropriate. The course can also be pursued by those looking to master the modern and new-age ESL/EFL teaching techniques and become an accomplished educator.

A BA in TEFL can be pursued by any aspirant with a minimum educational qualification of 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised institution. English communication skills and a knack for teaching are also the required requisites for pursuing this course. The Bachelor’s course is usually a 2 year course that is suitable for those aspirants who are quite serious about teaching English as a foreign language or for teaching other subjects in English in the non-English speaking countries of the world and wish to be in the education field for a prolonged period of their life.The course in TEFL is not just a degree in the mentioned field, but a well-recognised course program that is a quality addition to enhance one’s resume and increase his/her scope of employability in today’s job scenario. Also, this course will provide the successful candidates with a much better position in the organisation with a handsome salary.

Teachers and aspirants pursuing the course not only become educators for their learners but also mentors who are able to guide them at every step in the classes in the easiest and learner-friendly way. A TEFL/TESOL Bachelor’s degree prepares these aspirants with all the contemporary and innovative teaching and training methodologies, techniques and approaches to learners of all ages so that they become prepared and competent enough to handle a class full of learners.It is a professional course that is designed for all aspirants who are fresh out of school/college as well as experienced and professional teachers who are all well accomplished and established in their field, but is looking to upgrade their professional career into something that is at par with the international teaching standard. Along with modern teaching methodologies, the course also includes language acquisition, lesson planning, class management consisting of a mixed group of learners and many other necessary topics.

A TEFL teacher’s life is full of new experiences, opportunities as well as quite a lot of accomplishments. As one gets to meet new people and travel to a whole lot of different places, it certainly adds a whole new episode in a person’s life. It is also inferred through this that there is adequate requirement and need for TEFL/TESOL trained teachers, in every part of the world, especially in the non-English speaking nations.Moreover, the course is generally offered online that provides the candidates the chance to pursue it from any part of the world, at their own pace and time, and also at a much fees than the in-class courses. The study materials provided online, that are accompanied with videos are just about adequate to help the candidates complete pursuing the whole course.
