The corporate world is changing with flying colors. In this fast moving world, new approaches, ideas, policies and technology arise daily. In the recent time in order to rub shoulder to shoulder, learning is considered as a never ending process. It is the need of the hour that organizations constantly train and educate their employees about the changing dynamics of the industry. Nowadays, companies use Learning Management System to offer training and learning to employees at various levels.
Learning Management System is a software application that enables the masses to learn anything, anywhere and anytime. The learner can access study material online. This process eliminates the limitations of time, distance and resources and use internet technology to deliver up to date training in a cost effective manner.
Now the question arises why one should use LMS? There are a number of benefits of using an LMS like:-

Many teachers assume that when they say something to their class, the students hear what was said. Unfortunately this is not always the case and can lead to misunderstandings such as "...but s/he never told us that!" Over the years, I have heard many cases where a student says something was on a test that wasn't taught and the teacher says it was taught but the student could not have been paying attention.

Have you ever thought about the progress we have made over the past few centuries? We've discovered medical breakthroughs. We've engineered machines which can do things we can't do. We've created laws to advance our society. We've designed computers to make our lives much more efficient. We've created many technological advances haven't we? Actually no, we didn't create them at all. Significant contributions to technological change have actually been made by less than 1% of the population. The rest of us simply follow the lead of those who create the change. So what is the difference between people who follow the change (followers) those who implement them (middle men) and those who create them (leaders and experts)?
