Obstructions to Check For While Learning

There a various amount of factors that are considered as a hindrance in the growth of a person. And there are certain issues that are a source of obstruction for the poor memory and learning process. Some of the factors are mentioned below.

.) Environmental factors (classroom light, air, cleanliness, noise, temperature, and teaching aids (whiteboards, projectors). These factors have a great influence on learning. Keep a proper care of all these factors. For example, the noise might have a negative impact on the reading and learning process. Dull light in the reading room might not be good option to help focus attentively. The white boards should be neat and clean. There should be no distraction for the attention of the learners.

.) Try to analyze the learning style and pattern. That will help to grab everything easily. Some prefer to learn individually, some in groups, some learn by touching, some by hearing and so on. So, never opt for same methodology. Do what is perfect for you. Learning should be fun-filled and thus it will help you to gain much more. Learning is best when it is presented through the best explained way.

.) Competition is good but it should not be to such a level that it causes stress. It is good to expect but having inappropriate expectations is worthless. Each person has his/her own capabilities, so focus to make you better than on expectations that are not important at all. Compete with others but without having any sort of exertion on mind.

.) Have the balanced diet. Nutritional deficiency can cause serious problems. There are certain synthetic foods that can trigger symptoms of attention deficits, and other health related problems. A good and balanced diet not only protects from various diseases, but also from brain damage and mental disorders

.) TV, computers and video games are also a source of distraction. No doubt these have got some positive educational aspects but at the same time they increase exposure to violence, and minimize interpersonal interaction.

.) Developmental problems follow a lack of sensory stimulation, lack of movement, lack of touch, lack of interactive creative play and communication. These problems when misaligned can result in various problems in the flow of energy throughout the body. The various problems might be running on less power, behavioral problems, problems with listening, speaking, reading, writing, concentration, problem-solving, and memorizing.

.) Illness can also result in various problems. Like dehydration of just 5 percent can cause up to a 30 percent decrease in mental capacity. Conditions that can contribute to learning difficulties are infections, allergies, improper medications, inadequate diet or sleep, poor vision, and poor hearing.

.) Time wasters mostly lack objectives or even priorities, and have constant interruptions, personal disorganization, attempting too much, leaving tasks unfinished, lack of self-discipline, and exhaustion. There is no medical association pertaining learning disorders with a lack of energy or drive.

.) Fear factor hinders from trying anything new, and riskier ideas. Thus people prefer to stay "safe" with the safe ideas. People do not wish to get into any sort of risk.

.) Emotional effects are also of a major concern while learning. Emotional up-downs might also not allow you to be in a mood to learn anything new. So, recover from the emotional break over and try to focus on your learning after that.
