A vast majority of individuals wish to dwell in Thailand for more than the usual span of 30 days, which the Thai immigration permits. An Education visa to Thailand can be really useful if you would like to continue studying while you are here and stay for a long time. A Student Visa in Thailand lets you to live in the country for about 15 months or one year depending upon the study course you pursue. The most acknowledged course to practice in Thailand is the Thai language course. It is accessible all over Thailand and is not expensive. Other popular options such as Muay Thai, Gemology, and Thai Cooking, Meditation plus Massage Therapy and many different university courses are available too. If you wish to visit Thailand to study and avail Education visa Thailand, there are certain steps that you should follow that include:

Apply for desired program

The application processes vary in every university. You can also apply for few programs merely through sending the application form along with copies of transcripts; other asks for entire documentation with proper photographs and certified copies. The same goes for paying the fee. Officially, your application is submitted fully only after paying the university application fee.

Letter of acceptance (Admission Letter)

Once your admission application is approved, you will get a letter of acceptance, usually dubbed as the letter of admission. This letter will be in print over the university's authorized letterhead and signatured by the administrative representative. It ensures that you are granted for the applied program and calls you to commence your course at a specific date.
As the Admission letter is an authorized perquisite for acquiring the non immigrant Education visa, you will not be able to apply for the program, which you wish to begin in June/ July. The Bureau of Immigration cannot give visa for these specified months, it requires definite dates. The Education visa Thailand is a one year visa and is given only to the ones who will sincerely study. Thus, you must ensure that your request states that you are a sincere student.

Apply for visa

With the admission letter, a Xerox of your official passport and latest photographs of passport size, you can easily apply for education visa at Consulate within your country or Royal Thai Embassy.

Your one year is valid for only 90-days

Thailand does not mind to offer a full one year visa on papers mentioning -you will learn at least a single semester at Thai university or college. Be aware, as your application does not state you a learner. Thus, your student visa will be valid for only 90 days initially. During these 90-days, you require registering yourself and pay the course fee for the particular semester. With a letter of confirmation regarding your registration then you can apply for the extension of one year. Within this period, you do not have to go out of the country. After every 90 days you require notifying the Immigration bureau about your current address. It is a very simple to fill form and for this no fees is charged. You receive a slip that you have to tag in your passport as a proof. Unfortunately, there is no source to legally work in Thailand while you are on a student visa.
