In case you have put a lot of serious efforts for searching a teaching job abroad and still not received any invitations from the international schools for an interview, it would be a bit tricky to attend a teaching job fair. At any such international job search fair, it might be possible that you get a lot of interview invitations. After you have attended an orientation session by the recruiters, you would find your inbox flooded by invitations from them even though you might not have got any in the first attempt.

People even report over twenty invitations after these sessions. This comes as a positive surprise for those who hadn't received any positive response from the recruiters in the first attempt. It is advised that you keep yourself ready for any type of response at such job fairs. Thus, you might end up with the problem of plenty even when you were grappling with the anxiety of not getting any interview invitation at all some days ago! You might even get invitation from those schools where you don't wish to join.

To deal with such situations you need to make some preparation by keeping such notes where you can politely refuse to such offers. Getting some copies of such notes beforehand would be helpful. In case you don't have such notes ready, you would need end up making two dozen such hand written notes!

You can even take post-it pads. These are quite helpful in case you need to stick such notes on the doors of the hotel rooms of the recruiters or on their tables. For the advantage of being handy in such situations as these are both colorful and sticky, you wouldn't end up mixing these notes with other important papers. It is advised to print numerous copies of refusal letters along with the application letters that you might have prepared.

Such situations can be quite tricky. Due to the large number of applications flooding your mailbox, you would not be able to make a choice. There might be a confusion over which one to choose and which to reject. In order to deal with such situations in an intelligent way, you would need to do some homework. You can get enough practice by attending interview of those schools where you do not wish to join. Apart from getting practice, it would give you lot of confidence.

Further, it is quite possible that you end up getting to know features of such international schools so that you actually become interested in joining such international school where you did not wish to join in the first place. Thus, rejecting every international school might not be a good idea overall. Before making any final decision, you need to check for a few things. You can check for past history of such school, year of setup, facilities provided to the teachers etc. Such groundwork would definitely help you in getting proper know how of things and would help in making an informed choice.
