For efficient management of classroom the time management is very crucial. Most of the time of teacher is wasted on settling down, taking attendance and firing. Firstly, you have to plan your lesson well in advance. Some teacher writes notes before taking the class but for effective time management this is not enough. You have to do some homework like estimate the time needed for you to complete the particular lesson. This is not very difficult. You can talk your lesson loudly at your home and check your watch. This type of rehearsal will not only allow you to manage your time effectively but it increases your confidence also. It is observed that written notes will take much more time in the classroom then you expected. Since, you have to answer some of the student's questions.

When you enter in to the classroom, you're all the tools like projector, computer, chalks, sticks etc. are ready. These are most time eater. If you require an overhead projector to illustrate certain points and your overhead projector was just don't light up then calling and replacing the other projector will waste most of your time. Sometime you have to abandon your plan to show the slides. This is of course not an efficient time management.

Some teachers always carry their tools with them while changing the class. It is very tough for a teacher not to have their own classroom.
